Echo Ranch Camp
LakeLady Rods has been asked to lead a rod building class at a father/son wilderness camp 40 miles north of Juneau Alaska. This camp is sponsored by Avant Ministries who's mission statement for the program is "help redirect people toward something greater than themselves through the beauty of Southeast Alaska. Teaching skills that will help enhance their outdoor experience while promoting relationships that are based on the love of God."
This wilderness camp will accomidate 10 father/son's, plus camp councelors.
Most of the component parts to build the rods for the kids has been donated by very generous suppliers, companies and individuals. There remains a need to acquire spinning reels and fishing line. If you would like to help, any gift of reels or funds to purchase reels would be indeed appreciated.
